November.... Already?!

Wow! Is it already November?!

I was just watching the last game of the baseball World Series, snacking on toasted pumpkin seeds, and washing it down with a Pumpkin Spice Latte when it occured to me its actually November.... November 1st. Where did the 'off-season' go?! I only have a few more days before I'm back into full swing - 24x7 - in preparation for Christmas Eve 2010. And it also means it is time again for me to start posting regularly to my blog. It's going to be a great Christmas season this year and you will not want to miss any of it. Stay tuned....

Oh... and let me be the first this year to tell you.... "Happy Holidays!"

My kiddos found your blog and wanted to say Merry Christmas and is Rudolph really real? (that's an exact quote)

And what kind of cookies are your favorite?

It's about time you started blogging...my niece (and myself) have been dying to see your blog up and running!!!!

We will be kicking off the Christmas season after our Santa Claus Parade this weekend in Toronto! :)

Hoping you have a great season, welcome back, and Merry Christmas to you!

What's the weather like in the North these days? My son is going to Russia in a couple of months and will be a cold boy. Any suggestions for hard winter warmth?

YES! Rudolph is definitely real. And I have some good news about him that I will post in a few days... he's just not ready for me to share yet.

Launi - It's starting to get very cold up here. My secrets for staying warm are 1. to keep a cup of hot coffee, tea, or chocolate with me, 2. layer up in Nike's StormFIT ACG gear (they make some custom for me but you can find similar at the local sporting goods), and 3. keep foot warmers in my shoes and hand warmers in my gloves (I change 'em out every 3 hours when its really cold).

My Russian friends have a clear liquid they use to help with the cold too but I recommend your son stay away from that and its not exactly appropriate for me to discuss here :).
